An adapter plate that allows you to fit a Rail Exclusives Chunky Boom Box speaker into the space designed for an ESU 50343 (EM2).
With the latest batches of Heljan locos they have been designed to fit the ESU 50343 speaker, this is fine where it has been mounted on the chassis and provides a nice deep sound, however where the speaker has been mounted in the body such as the Class 24, this can result in undesirable vibration in the bodywork due to the bass. Using this adapter with a Rail Exclusives Chunk Boom Box helps to remove the undesirable vibration, the resulting sound is crisper but not as deep.
The speaker will need to be glued into the adapter plate, uhu or contact adhesive works quite well.
